Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your TransferXO web app enhances the security of your account by adding an additional layer of protection. Follow these detailed steps to enable 2FA and ensure your transactions are secure.
The Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Open the TransferXO Web App
Launch your PC browser and navigate to transferxo.com.
Step 2: Sign In to Your TransferXO Account
Enter your login credentials and sign in to your TransferXO account.
Step 3: Access Your Dashboard
Once signed in, you'll be directed to your homepage, also known as the Dashboard.
Step 4: Locate Profile Avatar
From the top-right-hand corner of your dashboard, locate the profile avatar and hover your mouse over it.
Step 5: Open Account Settings
From the dropdown menu that appears, click on "Account Settings".
Step 6: Privacy & Security
On the Account Settings menu, click on "Privacy & Security".
Step 7: Locate 2FA Region
Scroll down to locate the Two-factor Authentication (2FA) section.
Step 8: Enable 2FA Authenticator
Click on the button in front of the 2FA Authenticator section to toggle it on.
(Note: The 2FA may be required to validate transactions. If you want this active on your account, scroll down to the Withdrawal Settings to update the settings).
Step 9: Edit Withdrawal Settings
Click on "Edit Settings" in front of the "Require 2FA for all transactions?" tray.
Step 10: Toggle 2FA for All Transactions
Toggle the button in front of the "Require 2FA for all transactions?" to turn it on.
Step 11: Set Minimum Amount for 2FA
Input the minimum amount that would require 2FA.
Step 12: Update Withdrawal Settings
Once you're done, click on "Update Withdrawal Settings" to proceed.
Step 13: Select Authentication Platform
Select the authentication platform you wish to use to validate this and click on "Send Code" to proceed.
Step 14: Enter the Received Code
Enter the code you received on the platform you selected.
Step 15: Complete the Process
Click on "Complete" to finalize the setup.
